I am very interested in going to Israel either this year or next year. It sounds very interesting and exciting. I plan to retire soon so this is something I would like to do. I hope the trip is reasonable and not too costly. Thank you.
Mazel tov on your upcoming retirement! GEM Israel Trips really are very interesting and exciting…beyond your imagination. It’s the ideal “gift” you can give yourself upon retiring after all your years of dedication to work. It will set you on a meaningful and inspiring new course for your retirement years. 2012 GEM Israel Trips are June 11 – 20 and October 22 – 31. Check back with us for 2013 trip dates. The price is very reasonable considering what you get. It really is the trip of a lifetime! Submit your online application here and we’ll call you for a short phone interview. That will give you an opportunity to discuss any questions you might have. Looking forward to “meeting you” on the phone. All the very best.
I recently retired after 35 years of teaching. I would love to participate on a trip. It sounds exactly what I am looking for. I can’t go on your October trip because my 7th grandchild will be born during that time. When can I find out the dates for 2013 trips?
I want to do this for myself without kids parents or husband!
Good for you, Marlene! Although you are coming on the GEM Israel Trip without your kids, parents and husband and think you are doing it for yourself, they just might be benefiting, too. Why? Because your GEM experience could help you be an even happier and better mother, daughter and wife. I’ve heard it said, “A happy wife means a happy life.” or said a little differently, “When Mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!”
I just completed the Jewel program (the “daughter” program) and I want to come back with both my mom and savta! Its alittle pricey though. But I’m going to find some scholarships!
We’re rooting for you! We’ve had moms and daughters come on GEM Israel Trips together and we’re looking forward to having 3 generations on a single trip. Very special!
Hi Sandy, Thank you for your comment. 35 years of teaching! What an accomplishment! And the upcoming birth of your 7th grandchild… also amazing! May all go well. May you have lots of nachas from all of your children and grandchildren.
We haven’t locked down the 2013 GEM Israel Trips date yet and will post on the home page as soon as it is confirmed. But it is looking like August 5-14, 2013. Only one trip in 2013, hopefully, at a time when most women can take vacation time. I hope that will work for you.
After we receive your application, we’ll arrange a convenient time to meet by phone and answer any questions you might have.
In the meantime, enjoy your new freedom.
Stay in touch. All the best!
Sandy, we were happy to receive your application. Sent you an email to schedule a phone meeting to get to know each other a bit and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Looking forward. If you don’t see our email in your in box, maybe it went into your “spam” file…you might look there.
